Creating art is what makes me feel human, especially when I am making it with others. Through drawing, sculpting, printmaking, collage, photography, dance, and music I have navigated the dialectic between the collective and the individual. In the past few years, I have been especially drawn to drawing, linocut printmaking, mixed media collage, community altar-building, and singing, dancing, and playing musica popolare (what in English we call folk music) traditions from Southern Italy. My priority is expressing solidarity and providing mutual aid to people within and beyond my community. Since 2017, selling digital prints of my art in-person and online opened portals to collaborations, friendships, and adventures which have inspired and sustained me.
