This is a design inspired by and made for those of us in the Italian Diaspora who oppose Columbus Day and reject Columbus' legacy of genocide and colonial conquest as a representation of our identity. This is for those of us who say, "he doesn't represent me, my community, my identity, and most importantly, the world I want to see." Power to Indigenous people and Black people whose ancestors were most directly affected by genocide and chattel slavery on this continent. Power to all the immigrants struggling against imperial borders. Remember that italians, especially Southern Italians, were once migrants and ethnic "others."
