Sacco & Vanzetti Print, 5x7in

Sacco and Vanzetti (in this drawing from left to right Vanzetti and then Sacco) were Italian immigrants and anarchists who were accused of killing two payroll guards in 1920. The judge presiding over their trial was vocally anti-anarchist and anti-immigrant and throughout their unfair trial and time in prison, they became some of the most world's widely known political prisoners. People all over the world organized to demand their freedom, and collectively mourned when Sacco and Vanzetti were eventually executed at the hands of the state in 1927.
