Wages Against Housework

"They say it is love, we say it is unwaged work" is the opening line of the seminal essay "Wages Against Housework," written by Silvia Federici  in 1975. This drawing, originally done in spring of 2017 as part of a fundraiser for abortion funds, is a reminder that housework, care work, and sex work are just as much terrains of exploitation and struggle as the world of waged labor.
